On behalf of the Secretary, I hereby give notice of an Annual General Meeting of the Wellington Youth Events Society Incorporated, to be held by Zoom on Tuesday 30 June 2020 – time to be confirmed.
Only members of the Society may attend, speak, or vote, but you may join the Society at any point between now and the start of the meeting and still participate. To join the Society, head to https://wyesi.org.nz/join/.
Voting for the Board will take place online, and will conclude before the meeting. A voting link will be sent to all current Members after the close of nominations, and to all new members once they have been approved by the Board.
Voting on other matters will take place by voice vote at the meeting. You may nominate a proxy to vote on your behalf if they will be present at the meeting – email [email protected].
Notice of Election
Nominations for the following positions on the Society’s Board are now open, and close at 5pm on Friday 19 June:
- (1) Chair
- (1) Secretary
- (1) Treasurer
- (4) General Members
Only current members may run, meaning those persons who are current members of the Society as at 5pm on Friday 12 June 2020. If you wish to run, please email [email protected] by 5pm on Friday 19 June 2020, including the following in your email:
- A signed copy of our Board Nomination Form
- A portrait photo suitable for publication on our website and social media
- A candidate statement, either written (no longer than 350 words), or a link to a video (no longer than two minutes)
Business for the meeting
Anyone with business for the meeting (constitutional amendments, motions, etc.) must email their business to [email protected] by 5pm on Friday 19 2020.
